A big bunch of book lovers
Welcome to Good Reading, Australia’s leading book review magazine.
Good Reading Magazine kicked off in 2001 when a bunch of book-loving people got together (copious amounts of blind faith and enthusiasm were involved) and decided to start producing a monthly printed publication dedicated to giving readers the best book recommendations. We called our magazine Good Reading.
Since then, we’ve become an authority on Australian and international fiction, non-fiction and kids’ books. We’re the leading book review magazine across all genres, independently reviewing over 50 books each issue. Whether you’re interested in new releases, fiction reads, crime books or you’re looking for your latest book club pick, Good Reading will keep you up-to-date with all the latest book news and best books to read.
We also publish articles, interviews and podcasts with the most-loved Australian and international authors including Anthony Doer, Ann Patchett, Helen Garner, Sebastian Faulks, Geraldine Brooks, Tim Winton, Kate Grenville, Jane Harper, James Patterson, Michael Connelly, Anita Heiss, Ken Follett. Quentin Tarantino and so, so many more.
And if you have little people in your life, we also publish Good Reading for Young Adults and Good Reading for Kids, two magazines that showcase the best books for kids and young adults. You can subscribe to this digitally and keep up to date with all the latest releases, author interviews and reviews written by kids and young adults who’ve read and loved the books.
So, if you trying to decide what to read next, subscribe to the magazine or our regular newsletter for all the latest book reviews and recommendations.
We’re a community of book lovers here and we love sharing our favourite books with you. And we never judge – if you’re reading, we’re happy!
We hope you’ll share your favourite reads and book recommendations with us, and the other book lovers in our community too.
With love from the gr team – and a big WOOF from our office hound (work-life balance and security officer), Baxter!
